Carrot & Creamed Corn

Carrots, sweet in taste and soft when cooked are probably the most popular vegetable and perfectly suited to children's palates and they're great for their eyes!

Sweetcorn is not just popular and rich in Vitamin C, but it's also a low GI index food which means it causes only a small rise in blood sugar levels and therefore keeps hunger at bay so your little one will feel full for longer.

For this Saffie we cream our own corn using freshly shaved corn on the cob when it's plentiful and in season, or frozen corn kernels when it's not.
