Small, round and green, peas are a tasty powerfood packing lots of protein, fibre and micro-nutrients all essential in child development.

Broadbeans are 'meaty', flavourful beans that provide a boost of protein, fiber, potassium and energy-providing B vitamins.

Mint is soothing and helps digestion and we place a handful of leaves in the water when we blanche the peas and broad beans.
